Terms and Conditions
The Cottage is offered for self catering holidays on a weekly basis usually Saturday to Saturday ( 4 pm on the day of arrival to 10 am on the day of departure) unless otherwise stated, subject to the following hiring terms and conditions.
- There is no smoking in the cottage
- We regret that we cannot accommodate pets.
- If the hirer requires to cancel a reservation for any reason he must notify the owner by telephone and confirm in writing. The owner will then attempt to re-let the property but if unsuccessful the hirer will not be entitled to a refund of any deposit paid.
- If a cancellation is made within 28 days of the commencement of the holiday, the hirer will be liable for the full cost of the holiday unless the owner can find a substitute hirer.
- The hirer will use the property for private holiday purposes only and will not sub-let the property.
- The hirer will make good any damage or loss and leave the property and contents in a clean and tidy condition.
- The owner reserves the right to terminate the let of the property in the event of any disturbance or nuisance. In the event of termination in these circumstances, a refund of the remaining portion of the rental will be given.
- No responsibility is accepted by the owners of the property for any loss, damage or injury to persons or their property (including cars and contents) while staying at the property or any illness arising from any cause whatsoever.
- The owners reserve the right to refuse to hand over the property to any person or persons who in their opinion is not suitable to take charge. In such cases hire charges will be refunded in full and the liability of the owner shall cease. If the owner is prevented from handing over the property because of circumstances beyond his control, the hire charges will be refunded in full and the hirer will have no further claim against the owner.
- The number of persons occupying the property must not exceed the maximum occupancy level stated.
